Leo Seewald

Leo Seewald

Former CEO of the American Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan. Originally from Vancouver, Canada, he moved to Asia when he was 17 to enter the region's legal and banking sectors. After eleven years in Taiwan, he became a citizen of the Republic of China in 2020. He dreamed of visiting every port in Taiwan on a fishing boat, so he attained a Taiwan Sea Fishing Vessel Crew Certificate and bought a fishing boat! It was with great pride that he declared, "I should be the only white fisherman in Taiwan! I am a Taiwanese fisherman!" Starting in late 2021, he was the host of TaiwanPlus' Happy Fisherman, a lifestyle travel program that went on to win the National Award at the 2022 Asian Academy Creative Awards (AAA) in Singapore.

Chiung Ya, Lo

Chiung Ya, Lo

Born in Tainan in 1971, after receiving a double bachelor's degree in Chinese literature and sociology from Soochow University, she became involved in political-related public affairs. While serving as the Vice Secretary and Secretary General of the Taiwan Visitors Association, she devoted herself to the international promotion of local culture and tourism in Taiwan. She also loves to travel and considers it the best way to learn, observe, and experience. In 2013, she traveled alone to Spain to complete El Camino de Santiago and wrote a book to commemorate the trip.

Ken Wu

Ken Wu

He has a strong reputation and a lot of sway as a travel industry expert. He is an expert at giving his take on things from the unique perspective of someone who delivers information about travel. He is frequently asked to judge professional awards and events, conduct media interviews, and speak on culturally relevant topics because of his extensive lecture history and involvement in branding initiatives. He received a Golden Bell Award nomination for Best Lifestyle Program Host in 2022.

Wei-Hsiung Chan

Wei-Hsiung Chan

Born in 1961 in Taichung, Taiwan, Wei-Hsiung Chan holds a master's degree in Journalism from National Taiwan University. Chan was a journalist and creative director at an advertising firm in the early 1990s. He not only co-founded the largest online bookstore "Books.com.tw" in Taiwan, but also participated in the launch of magazines such as Business Next, Shopping Design, etc. Chan is now a full time researcher and writer of cultural and social change in Taiwan society.

Rifat

Rifat

Rifat (Ugur Rifat Karlova), born in Turkey in 1980. In 2011, he began hosting the TV show iWalker and received a Golden Bell Award for Best Travel Show Host the following year, the first foreign Golden Bell Award winner. Rifat has published four books in Mandarin and currently resides in Taiwan with his wife and two daughters. He is also a full time show host, author and youtuber.

Alston Hsu

Alston Hsu

An Aquarius boy born in 1990, who enjoys realizing his wildest ideas in real life. At age 18, he sets a goal to capture the scenery of all 368 townships in Taiwan with his camera and tell a local story with each photograph. Hsu hopes to create heart-touching works and, with imagery and written words on his blog, share the stories from his journey and show everyone the beautiful unseen side of Taiwan.
